Selection is fantastic!
Simply put... Your apps awesome. I love it...
Love this app it reads me storys
Had to reload it and there are some hiccups but overall I enjoy it.
Amazing. I love having access to hear books that I ordinarily would not read.
This app delivers what it promises: a great selection of classic books read by Librivox volunteers. Most of the readers are surprisingly good. I have had a few crashes, nut by and large the app is reliable.
There are many better apps out there. This app is mediocre: ads are intrusive, bugs are numerous, and the search function needs improvements. Newly available public domain books need to be added regularly to the collection. This app has not been updated for years.
Choosing from selection of readers per story would be nice
I love this app. Very good selection. Some of the people telling the stories can be hard to understand. Has Sherlock Holmes stories. Most books are pre-1923. Has Shakespeare. Has childrens books. Has lots of mystery books. One of the authors is Oscar Wilde. Has adventures of huckleberry Finn and adventures of Tom Sawyer. Has Moby Dick and Dracula.
One of my top 10 most used apps. Some of the voices are weird but I love listening to stories so I dont really care.
This is a pretty good app, but dont like having different narrators for each chapter
It introduces some excellent writers to me like Emily Dickinson
I like it! It is cool to have some classic books to listen to while commuting to work or whatever you may be doing. A book in your pocket hahaha
Good selection of classics that I get to listen to on long drives or before bed!
Can download more than 3 chapters in any book. Tried clicking on Next Chapter, tried the Download All button and nothing. Too bad!
Great for those long car rides!
Good stories. I like to follow author series, this app is set up well for this. Very easy to navigate and create your own library. I enjoy listening to a chapter as I relax with my eyes closed. Then I can visualize the events from the book. The variety of voices that narrate the chapters take a second or two to adjust, but has no impact on the writing of the story. My favourite so far is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I hear his voice in every story I listen to. I would recommend this app for folks who want to drift away into a good story.
Great way to expand your literary education!
Thank you for these audio books!
